Cooking took a back seat (of course) after having a baby but hubby and I started picking recipes for each other to cook… It’s the start of something really fun…
One of the first things we cooked was Emperor’s Beef Stew (Recipe here). I picked this for him to cook (since the flavor is too close to home) but somehow he managed to make me finish cooking it (well he did all the prep work).
Anyway, the only modification we did were to not use beef shanks but instead use the roast beef that we have in the freezer and to add a little bit more sugar and spices. 😀
Well, this recipe was kitchen-tested and we approved. Yum!
